TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State railway operator PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI will present special promotions on December 12, 2024, or 12.12. These promotions include regular and flash sale offers.
KAI Vice President for Public Relations Anne Purba said that through regular promotions, customers can get a 20 percent discount on ticket prices from the normal fare for different classes of travel, namely executive, business, and economy. This promo can be booked on December 12, 2024, for departures from December 16, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
On the flash sale program, Anne mentioned that customers can get train tickets for executive class starting from Rp149,000, business class starting from Rp119,000, and economy class starting from Rp99,000. "The program will be held on December 12, 2024, from 12:00 to 13:00 Western Indonesia time for departures from December 16, 2024, to January 5, 2025," she said in an official statement obtained by Tempo on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
Anne explained that this promo aims to improve customer service during the Christmas and New Year holidays at affordable prices. KAI hopes that the public can make the most of this promo.
"For regular promotions, KAI will provide a quota of up to 10,960 seats, as for the flash sale, there are up to 4,077 seats available," she added.
The special conditions for regular promotions apply only to certain trains, excluding Compartment, Luxury, Panoramic, Priority, Imperial, and other tourist trains. These tickets cannot be combined with special fares or other discounts but may be canceled or rescheduled following the rules. The promotion is valid while seats are available.
As for the flash sale promo, tickets can only be purchased through Access by KAI on December 12, 2024, from 12:00 to 13:00 Western Indonesia time. Anne also mentioned that this promo is only valid for certain trains like the regular promo.
