TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) provides discounts for the purchase of Whoosh train tickets up to 25 percent. This discount is offered by KCIC at KAI Expo 2024 organized by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI for two days, Saturday to Sunday, November 16-17, 2024 at the Assembly Hall, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Central Jakarta.
"Through this participation, KCIC aims to encourage more people to experience a comfortable and modern travel experience with Whoosh, both for vacation purposes, gatherings, and educational activities," said General Manager Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa, as quoted from her official statement on Saturday.
Based on the official announcement, it is known that the discount is only valid for group ticket purchases with a minimum of 20 passengers. This discount can be used for several types of trips, namely trips for tourism, meetings or gatherings, and Edu Wisata program.
For the Edu Wisata program specifically, KCIC provides additional services such as education to school students in the form of a deeper introduction to various aspects of trains and modern transportation technology presented by Whoosh. This promotion is specifically valid for ticket reservations made at the KCIC booth at the KAI Expo 2024 event.
Her presence at KAI Expo 2024, she said, is to introduce to the public an environmentally friendly modern transportation alternative to facilitate mobility. She explained that since starting commercial operations in October 2023 until November 2024, KCIC has served 6.3 million passengers.
She stated that this is one of the efforts to bring Whoosh closer to the public. "We want to show that traveling with Whoosh can be an attractive and efficient choice for various purposes, from vacations to educational activities," she said.
As additional information, for visitors who actively participate in various exciting games held at the KCIC booth, there is a chance to win various exclusive prizes provided. Some of them include Whoosh souvenirs and various tourist destination coupons.
