TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Upin & Ipin Universe game officially launched today, July 17, 2025, and is available for purchase across several platforms, with prices ranging from Rp579,000 on PlayStation to Rp654,452 on Steam and other stores.
"Upin & Ipin Universe is now available on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and Epic Games Store," an official statement from the game's website confirmed on Thursday.
Developed through a collaboration between Les' Copaque Production and Streamline Studios, the Upin & Ipin Universe game was initially unveiled to the public on February 27, 2025.
Prior to its launch, multiple trailer videos showcasing gameplay and features were uploaded to both the official Upin & Ipin Universe YouTube channel and the channels of its official game distributors.
This game is an adaptation of the popular Malaysian animated series Upin & Ipin. The animation tells the story of the lives of the twin brothers and the social atmosphere of their village, Kampung Durian Runtuh. The stories align with the local wisdom found in Malay villages across Southeast Asia, particularly in Malaysia.
In the game, players can explore every corner of the provided locations. Presented as an open-world game, it allows for free interaction with other characters, including family, friends, and the twins' neighbors.
Streamline Studios, as the developer, has also included various activities for players to enjoy. While exploring, you can swim, fish, cycle, and even cook fried chicken, the twin brothers' favorite food.
According to information provided on the Steam website, the developers have outlined the minimum personal computer (PC) specifications required to run this game. These include a minimum of Windows 10 64-bit operating system, an Intel Core i5-6500 processor, 16 GB of RAM, 15 GB of internal storage dedicated to the game, and an Nvidia GTX 1060 graphics card.
For an optimal gaming experience, the recommended specifications suggest a Windows 10/11 64-bit operating system, an Intel Core i5-10600K processor, an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, or an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 12 GB (or an equivalent graphics card), alongside 16 GB of RAM, and 15 GB of internal storage for the game application.
