Bournemouth release their line-up

And here is the 11 that Bournemouth will be going with. Plenty of goals in that.

Man United LEAVE OUT Matheus Cunha

The headline news as Man United release their line-up is that there is no Matheus Cunha. Two games into his United career and he's already hit a roadblock.

Amorim said: ‘We need to assess all the players. We have to be careful with everyone. He’s available for the next one. Mateus felt a little bit fatigued. He was ready to play, he wants to give everything, but we need to be careful.’

There's also, as expected, no Bryan Mbeumo.

Man United want to land ANOTHER striker

Ruben Amorim is not done revolutionising his frontline. With every transfer rumour, Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee's fingernails are bitten a bit shorter.

But this isn't a rumour. Mail Sport can report that United have officially made contact with RB Leipzig over Benjamin Sesko - a move which has ramifications for other Premier League transfer business - and you can read more about that here.

And how are Bournemouth doing?

Bournemouth got their Summer Series off to a rampant start with a 3-0 thrashing of Everton.

Jordan Pickford looked pretty helpless, and frustrated, as the Cherries ran riot in Everton's defensive third, with Philip Billing, Dango Ouattara, and Daniel Adu-Adjei all netting.

Billing's in particular was a lovely strike, and he'd only been on for 10 minutes. Not a bad pitch for a starting spot.

Kobbie Mainoo reflects on pre-season so far

We're only to games into pre-season - United first drew 0-0 with Leeds before their West Ham win - but Kobbie Mainoo is already feeling comfortable in his role and alongside some new faces...

Man United's last trip to Chicago

United's last time here at the Soldier Field was exactly a decade ago and it ended in a 2-0 defeat by PSG.

Blaise Matuidi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were on the scoresheet that day, but what I want to know from you is: how many of United's starting XI from that day can you name?

I'll reveal the answer a bit later. And no, Louis van Gaal did not play.

Job done in New Jersey

Manchester United claimed victory in their first Summer Series clash with West Ham last week, with Bruno Fernandes scoring both goals in a 2-1 win.

We had another look at new signing Matheus Cunha, although we're still waiting on the chance to see Bryan Mbeumo play for the Red Devils as he couldn't make it in time for New Jersey. That won't be today, though - Ruben Amorim has already confirmed that.
