TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Ducati Lenovo officially launched the 2025 MotoGP team. This is the first time the public has seen Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia in red together.
As per tradition, the relaunch was held at the Madonna di Campiglio ski resort, Trentino, Italy. Marc Marquez and Bagnaia have even been there since Sunday, January 19, 2025.
In terms of appearance, there is no change in the color of the Desmosedici GP25 motorbike. The team based in Borgo Panigale still uses Ducati's signature striking red.
Bagnaia is back using his old racing number, 63. He returned to wearing the number after number 1 was taken by Jorge Martin who won the 2024 MotoGP world title.
Meanwhile, Marc Marquez still uses his identical number, 93. Marquez was promoted to the Ducati Lenovo factory team after appearing brilliantly with Gresini Racing in MotoGP 2024. The man from Spain managed to overthrow Enea Bastianini's seat.
It is no wonder that Ducati Lenovo promoted Marquez. Because, the 31-year-old man managed to show his teeth with Gresini Racing by finishing in third place in the 2024 MotoGP standings.
Even though Marquez only has a Ducati Desmosedici GP23 motorbike, aka a version one year older than Bagnaia and Jorge Martin's motorbike. However, he was able to compete with his two rivals by winning three victories.
The Bagnaia-Marquez duet makes Ducati Lenovo have a strong team to navigate next season. Many predict that they will compete for the 2025 MotoGP world championship title.
