As New Year's Day falls on Wednesday, you can take two leaves before the festive celebration. To maximize the one-year moment, it is also considerable to take another two leaves afterward on January 2–3.
Chinese New Year
Falls on: Wednesday–Thursday, Jan 29–30, 2025

The best time to use your leaves in 2025 is during the Chinese New Year. With just three leaves, you can enjoy a full nine days off, Saturday-Sunday, Jan 25-Feb 2, 2025. It is highly recommended to plan an overseas trip but be prepared for higher accommodation costs and busier situations.

Falls on: Monday, Mar 31, 2025.

Unfortunately, the Hari Raya Haji holiday falls on a weekend. However, if you're looking for a longer break, you can leave on Monday and enjoy a three-day off.
National Day
Falls on: Saturday, Aug 9, 2025.
Leaves to take:
- Monday, Aug 11, 2025.
Another holiday falls on a weekend. You can choose to enjoy the weekend as it is, or you can consider taking Monday off for an extended break.
Deepavali
Falls on: Monday, Oct 20, 2025.
Yay! It’s a long weekend with three days off, and no leaves taken.
Christmas Day
