TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Citibank, N.A., Indonesia (Citi Indonesia) reported a net profit of Rp2.3 trillion in the third quarter of 2025. Chief Executive Officer Batara Sianturi said the performance was supported by a 10 percent year-on-year increase in net interest income and a stable low-cost funding ratio at 78 percent.

“With these positive results, Citi Indonesia recorded a Return on Equity (ROE) of 15.4 percent and a Return on Assets (ROA) of 4.1 percent,” Batara said during a press briefing at Park Hyatt Jakarta on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

The bank’s Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) stood at 277 percent and 154 percent respectively. Its Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), or Kewajiban Penyediaan Modal Minimum (KPMM), also strengthened to 35.8 percent, up from 33.1 percent the previous year.

Citi Indonesia’s Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business posted a 3 percent growth in the third quarter. Batara noted that the bank has expanded its collection network through its omnicollection services to support retail and e-commerce fund flows.

“TTS continues to enhance digital solutions to improve clients’ business efficiency and keep pace with industry developments,” he said. In the third quarter, TTS successfully completed the migration of Indonesian clients to the CitiDirect V3 platform, which offers upgraded security features and more robust cash-management capabilities.

TTS also launched new digital integrations, including Host-to-Host and API solutions for several major clients in the technology and financial services sectors.

Batara added that TTS is also helping clients provide working-capital support to local suppliers through the bank’s supply-chain financing program. In 2025, the program recorded a 16 percent increase in the number of participating suppliers compared with the previous year.
