TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Dubai is set to welcome 2026 with an extraordinary fireworks showcase, promising residents and visitors a front-row seat to one of the world’s most ambitious New Year’s Eve celebrations.
As midnight approaches, more than 48 fireworks shows are slated to take place across the emirate, poised to bathe the city’s iconic skyline in a sweeping canvas of light.
According to the Security Industry Regulatory Authority (SIRA), which licenses and supervises all commercial fireworks displays in Dubai, shows will take place at 40 designated locations on December 31.
Global Village is set to take center stage, rolling out seven fireworks shows in one night to mirror New Year celebrations in seven different time zones.
While globally renowned displays at the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab are expected to draw massive crowds, organisers note that spectacular shows will also be visible from a wide range of landmarks, tourist hubs, and entertainment districts citywide.
As reported by Gulf News, the scale and spread of this year’s celebrations ensure there will be no shortage of vantage points to welcome 2026 in style.
