TEMPO.CO, Jakarta -  PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares recorded the highest level at 65.77 this morning, before returning to the range of 64. In the afternoon, the shares strengthened to 66, recorded at 01:00 p.m. local time. GOTO posted Rp89 billion from 1.3 billion shares at the closing of the first trading session today.

The fluctuating stock came as GOTO announced Patrick Walujo's resignation as CEO. Hans Patuwo, who will be appointed at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on December 17, 2025, will replace Patrick. Yesterday's trading saw a significant purchase of GOTO stock by foreign investors, with a trading volume of 68.5 million lots.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Composite Index (IHSG) in the first trading session today closed lower at 5,506 with a transaction value of Rp16 trillion. Since the opening session, IHSG has been stuck in the red zone, according to Mirae Asset Securities Indonesia Analyst Team in a written statement.

The weakening stock was attributed to pressure on stocks included in the IDXProperty and IDXNon-cyclicals indices. Several major stocks, such as the Barito Group, including PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), slipped by 3.5 percent and PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) by 2.3 percent.

In addition, major banking companies such as PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) went down by 2.0 percent and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) by 2.3 percent. "IHSG is under pressure, especially from stocks included in the IDX Property and IDX Non-cyclicals," they said.
