Hary Tanoe, along with Donald Trump supporters, was at the Mar-a-Lago resort, Palm Beach, Florida. "Election Night, 5 Nov, Mar-a-Lago, West Palm Beach, Florida," wrote Hary Tanoe.
In the video he uploaded, Hary Tanoe shook hands with Donald Trump. Hary was accompanied by his wife, Liliana Tanoesoedibjo, who attended the invitation.
Hary Tanoe is known to have a business relationship with Donald Trump. In 2022, he posted a photo with Donald Trump on his Instagram account. His wife, Liliana Tanoesoedibjo, who is also the Executive Chairwoman of MNC Group, was also seen in the photo. "Dinner with the 45th President of the United States at Mar-a-Lago, Palm Beach. Wednesday, Jan 5, 2022," wrote Hary Tanoe on his official Instagram account, on Saturday, January 8, 2022.
Hary Tanoe has known Trump since 2015. These two tycoons built a six-star hotel in Lido, West Java, and Tanah Lot, Bali, along with a golf course and country club. Hary Tanoe was also specially invited when Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States on January 20, 2017 in Washington DC.
When interviewed by TEMPO Magazine in 2017, Hary Tanoe said he felt a connection with Trump from the beginning. He continuously met Trump and his three children. "Donald Trump is very friendly," he said at the time.
