Jakarta Election: Pramono Anung-Rano Karno Leads in Quick Count Update

TEMPO.CO, JakartaJakarta gubernatorial candidate pair Pramono Anung-Rano Karno currently leads the quick count poll of today’s regional election.

As of 3:20 p.m. Jakarta time, Parameter Politik Indonesia, a survey agency, indicated that Pramono-Rano led with 48.81 percent out of 23 percent of incoming data with 59.77 percent voter turnout. Meanwhile, number 1 candidate pair Ridwan Kamil-Suswono obtained 40.07 percent thus far, followed by Dharma Pongrekun and Kun Wardhana with 11.12 percent.

Based on Tempo's observation, Pramono Anung-Rano leads at the polling station, or TPS 065 in Jalan Karang Asri II, Cilandak, South Jakarta, where Rano Karno cast his vote. 

The pair led with 272 votes, followed by Ridwan Kamil-Suswono with 74 votes and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana with 23 votes.

Meanwhile, there were 20 invalid ballots with a total of 389 eligible voters. The voter data is divided into three categories, namely the Permanent Voter List (DPT) with 385 people, the Transfer Voter List (DPTb) with one person, and the Additional Voter List (DPK) totaling three people.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Governor candidate number 1, Ridwan Kamil, accompanied Golkar Party leader Bahlil Lahadalia, who cast his vote in Duren Tiga Barat, Pancoran, South Jakarta. Ridwan Kamil will cast his vote in Bandung, West Java.

After accompanying Bahlil to vote, Ridwan Kamil immediately headed to Bandung, West Java, to cast his vote. 

Ridwan Kamil is also optimistic about winning a one-round election in Jakarta. "Being optimistic is my nature. I’m optimistic until the very last second,” he said.
