TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating alleged corruption in the 2018-2023 budget year of PT Pertamina (Persero) Gas Station Digitalization project. Yesterday, investigators questioned the BPH Migas Fuel Supervision Coordinator Agustinus Yanuar Mahendratama along with six other people.
"Yesterday, Monday, January 20, the examination was conducted at the KPK's Red and White Building," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika Sugiarto in a written statement, Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
Six other people who were examined together with Agustinus, namely Head of Outbound Purcashing PT Sigma Cipta Caraka (Telkomsigma) for the 2018-2020 period, Aily Sutedja, VP Corporate Holding and Portfolio IA PT Pertamina (Persero) Anton Triend, VP Sales Support PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Aribawa, Director of PT Dabir Delisha Indonesia for the 2018-2020 period, Asrul Sani, Director of Sales and Marketing PT Pins Indonesia for the 2016-2019 period, Benny Antoro, and Commissioner of PT Ladang Usaha Jaya Bersama Charles Setiawan.
Tessa said that the witnesses were examined to explore several procurement projects at PT Telkom for use at Pertamina.
According to KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo, in the investigation of the alleged corruption case in the digitalization of gas stations at Pertamina, the KPK has made prevention efforts through a study at the Monitoring Directorate.
He explained that the effort was a form of integration between strategies in eradicating corruption. "That the findings of corruption vulnerabilities through a prevention approach can be used to enrich information or be followed up with enforcement efforts," said Budi.
Through the study of corruption risks in the management of certain types of fuel (JBT) Solar Oil, the KPK found problems with the digitization data of nozzles (spray pipes) which had an impact on the high number of distribution corrections and the number of distribution deviations.
The KPK has also submitted the results and recommendations for improvement to the relevant parties, so that the potential for corruption vulnerabilities in the energy sector can be fixed. So that energy management does not cause state financial losses and can provide the greatest possible benefits to the community.
Furthermore, still within the framework of prevention, the KPK through the Directorate of Anti-Corruption of Business Entities (AKBU) is also intensively providing assistance to business actors, both BUMN, BUMD, and private. The KPK continues to encourage the implementation of a business system with integrity, one of which is using the corruption prevention guide (Pancek). Pancek is designed to assist various business entities in Indonesia in building a corruption-free business environment. In addition, the KPK is intensively providing training and socialization to these business actors. Namely as part of strengthening individual integrity, within the framework of anti-corruption education through the Deputy for Education and Community Participation.
