TEMPO.CO, Semarang - Several train trips were canceled due to the flood that submerged Grobogan Regency on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. The flood inundated and eroded the railroad tracks at Kilometer 32+5/7 between Gubug Station-Karangjati Station for the past two days.
The train trips that were canceled were KA 227 Blora Jaya on the Cepu-Semarang route, KA 546 Kedung Sepur on the Semarang-Ngrombo route, KA 545 Kedung Sepur on the Ngrombo-Semarang route, KA 170 Tegal Bahari on the Jakarta-Tegal route, KA 169 Tegal Bahari on the Tegal-Jakarta route, KA 1 Argo Bromo Anggrek on the Surabaya-Semarang-Jakarta route, and KA 2 Argo Bromo Anggrek on the Jakarta-Semarang-Surabaya route.
PT KAI apologized for the cancellation of a number of train trips. "KAI is aware of the impact of this disruption on customers, especially those who have planned to travel by train," said KAI Daop 4 Semarang Public Relations Manager, Franoto Prabowo.
Then a number of train trips were diverted to avoid points affected by the flood, namely KA 108 Jayabaya on the Jakarta-Semarang-Surabaya route via the Brumbung-Gundih-Gambringan route and KA 185 Blambangan Ekspres on the Ketapang-Semarang-Jakarta route via the Gambringan-Gundih-Brumbung route.
KA 64 Sembrani on the Jakarta-Semarang-Surabaya route was diverted via the Brumbung-Solo Jebres-Surabaya Gubeng route, KA 4 Argo Bromo Anggrek on the Jakarta-Semarang-Surabaya route via the Brumbung-Solo Jebres-Surabaya Gubeng route, and KA 3 Argo Bromo Anggrek on the Surabaya-Semarang-Jakarta route was diverted via the Surabaya Gubeng-Solo Jebres-Brumbung route.
Furthermore, KA 219 Kertajaya on the Surabaya-Semarang-Jakarta route was diverted via the Surabaya Gubeng-Solo Jebres-Brumbung route, KA 130 Gumarang on the Jakarta-Semarang-Surabaya route via the Brumbung-Solo Jebres-Surabaya Gubeng route, and KA 78 Pandalungan on the Jakarta-Semarang-Jember route via the Brumbung-Gundih-Gambringan route.
As well as KA 131 Dharmawangsa on the Surabaya-Semarang-Jakarta route was diverted via the Gambringan-Gundih-Brumbung route, KA 63 Sembrani on the Surabaya-Semarang-Jakarta route via the Gambringan-Gundih-Brumbung route, and KA 126 Harina on the Bandung-Semarang-Surabaya route was diverted via the Brumbung - Gundih - Gambringan route.
