Chicago Bears star Jonathan Owens found himself at the center of a brawl with his one of his own teammates during their training camp on Tuesday.
Owens, who is the husband of seven-time Olympic gold medal winner Simone Biles, had a ball thrown at him by running back Roschon Johnson, before it all kicked off.
According to reports, Owens attempted a 'late peanut punch' which sparked Johnson's frustrations and lead to the ball being thrown.
In response, Owens then tackled his teammate to the ground before coaches and other players stepped in to diffuse the situation.
Afterwards however, when discussing the incident with reporters, Johnson downplayed the skirmish with the Bears safety.
He explained: 'That's just camp. Getting competitive, that's all it was. Like I said, it's football. When you compete at a high level, stuff like that is bound to happen'.

The Bears scuffle is just the latest in training camp bust-ups between teammates, with similar instances occurring at both the Steelers and the Patriots.
Meanwhile, away from the field, Owens recently made a shock family announcement with his wife, Simone Biles.
The couple, who have been married since 2023, revealed they would be transitioning to their custom-built mansion in Texas.
Olympic gymnastics champion Biles shared some photos of the couple's dogs enjoying their new home back in April.
Meanwhile, Biles made headlines herself recently after she issued a public apology to Riley Gaines for comparing her to a man in a bitter personal attack over her stance on trans athletes.
Gaines, a former swimmer turned conservative commentator for OutKick, criticized a Minnesota softball team with a trans pitcher last Friday, after leading the backlash against high school trans athlete AB Hernandez.
Hernandez, 16, had claimed gold in the high jump and triple jump at a finals in California at the end of May, all while parents of rival competitors were protesting against her involvement.

Biles and Riley Gaines have been caught in a war of words over transgender athletes
Biles snapped and lashed out at Gaines, calling her views 'truly sick', before getting personal and telling her to 'bully someone your own size, which would ironically be male'. But, she later changed her tune - and Gaines graciously accepted the apology.
The OIympic gymnast broke her four-day silence by writing on X: 'I wanted to follow up from my last tweets. I’ve always believed competitive equity & inclusivity are both essential in sport.
'The current system doesn’t adequately balance these important principles, which often leads to frustration and heated exchanges, and it didn’t help for me to get personal with Riley, which I apologize for.'
Gaines replied: 'I accept Simone's apology for the personal attacks including the ones where she body-shamed me. I know she knows what this feels like. She's still the greatest female gymnast of all time. A couple of things. Sports ARE inclusive by nature. Anyone can and everyone SHOULD play…'
