NATIONAL INFO - The PKK remains committed to its priority programs, including addressing stunting, enhancing family quality, character building, education, and family resilience.
Innovation and adaptation to information technology are essential for implementing PKK programs effectively. This was emphasized by Tri Tito Karnavian, Chairperson of the Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement (TP PKK), during the inauguration of the TP PKK Chairperson, Posyandu Supervisors, and Central TP PKK and Posyandu Supervisory Board for the 2024–2029 term at Balai Sudirman, Jakarta, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
Tri highlighted that utilizing information technology could significantly enhance the PKK's program reach and efficiency. “We must leverage information technology to extend the scope of our programs and improve their execution," he said.
In his speech, Tri reaffirmed that the PKK would stay focused on its core programs, including tackling stunting, improving family quality, fostering character development, supporting education, and strengthening family resilience. He underlined the importance of developing the organization’s internal capacity, including enhancing human resource skills and ensuring efficient governance. To maximize the impact of its programs, Tri encouraged collaboration with various stakeholders.
The inauguration event was also combined with the 2024 National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas), serving as preparation for the 10th National Work Meeting (Rakernas X) of PKK in 2025. This effort aims to reinforce the National Program for Government and Village Development Strengthening (P3PD) and align PKK's initiatives with the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025–2029.
Tri urged participants to take the Rakornas seriously, emphasizing its role in shaping strategic and effective plans to support RPJMN objectives. "The upcoming Rakornas X PKK is a critical moment for developing a more focused and effective master and strategic plan to support RPJMN 2025–2029," he remarked.
The Rakornas is expected to produce strategic decisions that will benefit the sustainability of PKK programs. Tri underscored the need to follow up on Rakornas outcomes with concrete initiatives. (*)
