TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The trend toward smartphones with ultra-large batteries is expected to cross the 10,000 mAh mark, with Realme reportedly preparing a new handset featuring a 10,001 mAh battery, slated for release in 2026.
The yet-to-be-named device, bearing the model number RMX5107, is said to run on Realme UI 7.0. According to leaked information, the phone will come with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, with additional memory configurations likely to be offered.
A Russian technology blog reported that the RMX5107 has already received Hi-Res Audio certification and is currently undergoing approval for sale in Russia. Details regarding its global availability are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Realme’s rumored move follows the recent launch of gaming smartphones with similarly massive batteries. On December 26, Honor introduced the Win and Win RT models in China, both equipped with 10,000 mAh batteries.
The Honor Win is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with an Adreno 830 GPU, while the Win RT uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform. Both devices support up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.
The two Honor gaming phones share a 6.83-inch OLED display featuring Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of up to 185 Hz, HDR10+ support, and high-frequency PWM dimming at 5,920 Hz. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is embedded beneath the screen.
In the camera department, the Honor Win is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
The Win RT model omits the telephoto lens. Both devices feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera, while the rear camera module incorporates an active cooling fan capable of spinning at up to 25,000 RPM.
Honor has also included support for 100-watt wired charging on both models, along with 80-watt wireless charging for the Win variant.
Additional features include MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance certifications, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, an infrared sensor, stereo speakers with Honor AI surround subwoofer, NFC, and dual-SIM 5G connectivity.
