TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated 48 individuals to fill the roles of coordinating ministers and technical ministers in the Merah Putih Cabinet. Several of these ministers have previously served under the 7th President Joko Widodo, and notably, some of Jokowi's ministers have retained their positions in Prabowo's government.
Prabowo inaugurated his cabinet ministers at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday, October 21, 2024. The Merah Putih Cabinet is the official name for the cabinet in the Prabowo-Gibran government.
Tempo noted 17 names of ministers from Jokowi's cabinet who have been retained by Prabowo. Of these 17, 12 ministers have kept their previous positions. The remaining five names have been assigned to different roles, such as Pratikno, who was previously the State Secretary Minister and is now entrusted with the position of Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture.

5. Saifullah Yusuf, remains as Minister of Social Affairs
6. Bahlil Lahadalia, remains as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM)
7. Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, remains as Minister of Industry
8. Andi Amran Sulaiman, remains as Minister of Agriculture
9. Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, remains as Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries
10. Erick Thohir, remains as Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE)
11. Rosan Roeslani, remains as Minister of Investment and Head of BKPM
12. Dito Ariotedjo, remains as Minister of Youth and Sports
13. Pratikno, now Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, previously State Secretary Minister
14. Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, now Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, previously Agrarian and Spatial Planning Minister
15. Zulkifli Hasan, now Coordinating Minister for Food, previously Trade Minister
16 Raja Juli Antoni, now Minister of Forestry, previously Deputy Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning
17. Budi Arie Setiadi, now Minister of Cooperatives, previously Minister of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo)
