TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) is probing former Energy and Mineral Resources Minister, Sudirman Said, today, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, as confirmed by AGO head of legal information, Anang Supriatna.
As of the writing of this article, the questioning is still underway.
"(Questioned regarding the case of) Pertamina/Petral," said Anang in a brief message to Tempo, on Tuesday, but stopped short of explaining further details about the probing.
A month ago, the Attorney General's Office said it was investigating the alleged corruption case in the crude oil and refinery product management at Petral and Pertamina Energy Services (PES), as well as the function of PT Pertamina's integrated supply chain during the 2008-2017 period.
This summons is part of the development from the corruption of crude oil and refinery product management during the 2018-2023 period.
"This is the development of Pertamina's crude oil management case," said Anang on Friday, November 14, 2025.
The prosecutor issued an investigation order for the alleged Petral corruption case in October 2025. However, until now, no suspects have been identified.
AGO is investigating the alleged violations of Article 2 and Article 3 of the Corruption Law, after the investigation order was issued on August 29, 2025.
