TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto hosted Rosan Roeslani, the CEO of the sovereign wealth fund Danantara and Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry, at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Sunday afternoon, January 4, 2026.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, as quoted from the Instagram account of the Cabinet Secretariat on Sunday, stated that the two discussed a number of concerns, including the development of Danantara's downstream projects with investment value reaching Rp100 trillion.
"During the meeting, three points were discussed, namely the development of 5 downstream projects by Danantara, which will have project groundbreaking next month," said Teddy when confirmed by Antara.
Teddy explained that the downstream programs will take place across several Indonesian provinces with an investment value of around US$6 billion or equivalent to Rp100 trillion, aimed at bolstering the national industrial structure.
Besides the downstream projects, he said, the meeting discussed the development of waste-to-energy projects, which focus on waste management, so the open waste volume can be reduced while providing economic benefits.
"The development of Waste to Energy projects so that the volume of open waste not only decreases but will be beneficial from an economic perspective," said Teddy.
