TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT MEDCO Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) announced that the Sponsored American Depositary Receipts (ADR) of the company have been traded on the OTCQX Best Market with the stock code MDCOY. Equity investors in the United States have been able to trade MDCOY since Saturday, November 22, 2025.
MedcoEnergi CEO Roberto Lorato said that this move is part of the company's capital market strategy. Through this, Roberto said, MedcoEnergi provides access for equity investors in the United States to trade company shares through a regulated and transparent platform.
"As the first Indonesian issuer listed on OTCQX, MedcoEnergi continues to increase visibility and accessibility to international investors," he said in the disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, quoted on Monday, November 24, 2025.
Roberto explained that OTCQX Best Market allows companies listed on international exchanges that meet the requirements to utilize their home market reporting to provide easily accessible financial information to investors in the United States. Companies listed on OTCQX must meet high financial standards, implement good governance practices, and comply with applicable capital market regulations.
Roberto stated that the listing on OTCQX is part of strengthening MedcoEnergi's investor base. "This strengthens our investor base, enhances liquidity for our shareholders on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and supports the long-term value creation strategy of the company," he said.
