TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Directorate of Cyber Crime (Dittipidsiber) of the Indonesian National Police arrested a honorary employee in Mekarsari Village, Pangandaran, West Java on suspicion of disseminating pornographic videos. Deputy Director of Dittipidsiber Bareskrim Polri Commissioner Dani Kustoni said, the suspect with the initials 'OS' a.k.a. Anefcinta had managed 585 pornographic websites and uploaded 1,058 pornographic videos.

One of the websites managed by OS is a link named Bokep.cfd. "The Bokep.cfd link and 26 other domains are online porn sites with adult and child categories," Dani said during a Press Conference at the Bareskrim Polri Building on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Dani explained that OS had been managing this link since 2015. The modus operandi carried out by OS was to search for pornographic video content from the internet through various references, and then re-upload it on his own websites. "Uploading and managing the websites independently," said Dani.

S made a profit of hundreds of millions of rupiah from managing the website. Meanwhile, OS worked as an honorary employee as an admin on a village website. "The profit amounted to hundreds of millions of rupiah from adsense, namely income from sharing profits from Google for each ad clicked by visitors to the site," said Dani.

In the disclosure of this case, the police also confiscated evidence such as 4 mobile phones, 1 CPU, 1 laptop, 2 external hard drives, and 3 email accounts. Investigator, Dani stated, found thousands of pornographic videos in the seized evidence. "The suspect stored 123 video files on the phone, and 3,064 videos on the laptop, as well as a total of 1,058 uploaded videos," he said.

For his actions, OS is charged under Article 45 paragraph 1 juncto Article 27 paragraph 1 of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law and Article 29 juncto Article 4 paragraph 1 of the Pornography Law. The maximum punishment is 12 years in prison and/or a fine of up to Rp 6 billion.
