TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Legal Team of the PDIP DPP, Johannes Tobing, said that he had received a second summons letter from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto. The KPK is said to have scheduled a second summons for Hasto on Monday, January 13, 2025.

"We have received (the KPK summons letter) on the 13th (January 2025)," Johannes told reporters in Bekasi, Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

According to him, Hasto will fulfill the KPK summons. "(Hasto) will attend," he added.

Previously, Hasto was absent from the KPK examination scheduled for Monday, January 6, 2025. According to PDI Perjuangan spokesman Guntur Romli, Hasto's absence was because he was already scheduled with a series of activities for the party's anniversary.

"Today, Mas Hasto cannot attend because he is already scheduled with a series of party anniversary activities before the (KPK) summons was received," said Guntur Romli in a written statement, Monday, January 6, 2025.

Guntur said Hasto had sent a letter to the anti-corruption agency to request a rescheduling and there would be further information from the Head of the PDIP DPP for Legal Reform and the Legal Team of the PDIP DPP Secretary General.

The KPK has named Hasto as a suspect in the bribery case against Wahyu Setiawan. Hasto is said to have been involved in giving bribes to pass Harun Masiku as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives for the 2019-2024 period from the inter-time replacement route.

The determination of Hasto as a suspect was carried out after the handover of the KPK leadership position from the previous period to the new period on December 20, 2024.

Based on a report by Tempo magazine entitled What Evidence Hasto Kristiyanto Holds to Expose Jokowi's Corruption, after Jokowi was fired from PDIP in early December 2024, a number of disturbances began to emerge within PDIP, including those experienced by Hasto.

On Friday night, December 13, 2024, Hasto was said to have been contacted by a high-ranking police officer or what is known as a brown courier alias kurcok. The police brought a message from Jokowi.

First, the police asked PDIP not to fire Jokowi and his family from party membership. Because it is known, on December 4, 2024, Hasto said that PDIP would fire 27 cadres on the orders of General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri, including Jokowi and his family.

"I emphasize again that Mr. Jokowi and his family are no longer part of the PDI Perjuangan," said Hasto in a press conference at the PDIP Party School, Jakarta, Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

Second, Hasto Kristiyanto was asked to resign from his position as secretary general within 1 x 24 hours. Several people close to Jokowi once told Tempo that the former Jakarta Governor was not happy with Hasto because he often attacked Jokowi and his family.

Then in the third message, the police said that Hasto Kristiyanto was asked not to bring up Jokowi's family's personal problems.
