Caitlin Clark was all smiles as she posed for a photo with golf icon Bubba Watson on Friday night, despite her ongoing and unprecedented struggles with a groin injury.
Until the start of the current WNBA season, Clark had a perfect injury record, never having missed a game for her entire college career and first year as a pro.
But she has been struck down by multiple issues this season, and Friday night's visit from the Washington Mystics marked her 12th straight game not being able to help her teammates.
Despite the ongoing blow, and confusion over how long she will be sidelined, Clark was able to put on a brave face for Watson and his family as they stopped by Gainbridge Fieldhouse to take in the game.
In the snap, Clark stands among the Watson clan, including Bubba's wife Angie, who herself is a former University of Georgia and WNBA professional basketball player.
In the center of the photo are the Watsons' two children, Caleb and Dakota.

Clark once again took up a sideline role but she couldn't stop the Fever from falling to a loss
It remains unclear when Clark will return to the court - she has so far missed 12 straight games
Friday night's game ended in a loss for the struggling Fever, who have now slipped to an 18-16 record without their star player to help them out.
Much of the scoring was left to Aliyah Boston in the latest game, while Kelsey Mitchell chipped in with 14 points and nine assists.
LIV Golf star Watson, meanwhile, is in Indiana for the breakaway league's latest competition, at nearby 'The Club at Chatham Hills'.
The Range Goats captain is currently tied for ninth after the first day of the tournament, while Sebastian Munoz leads after a remarkable 59 left him at -12.
