As part of legendary swimmer Michael Phelps' visit to his favorite NFL team's preseason practice, the Baltimore Ravens were challenged to a diving contest by the Maryland man.
More than a dozen members of the Ravens roster participated, with most having showing their form off the diving board would not score well in the Olympics.
At the Mangione Aquatic Center, on the campus of Loyola in Maryland, members of the Ravens roster had a choice - to jump from the swallow diving board, which is about three feet above the water. The more daring members of the flock opted for an actual diving platform.
The platform, which had diving boards attached to the end, was about a dozen feet above the water and led to a few chaotic landings from those who over-rotated on their dives.
Arguably the funniest moment came when defensive lineman Travis Jones jumped in the water from the shallow diving boards with a pair of pool noodles wrapped around each leg.
'Y did big Trav have the pool noodles wrapped around his legs???' Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson said with laughing and head-slapping emojis.

Many members of the Ravens took part, including behemoth defensive lineman Travis Jones
Jones was later seen receiving a swimming lesson from the greatest male to ever competitively touch pool water.
Phelps showing up at Ravens camp came after a July invitation from Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey, posting a video from the pool to enlist the help of the 28-time Olympic medalist.
Noting the team's new pool and the fact that a third of Ravens players are unable to swim, Humphrey posted a video online with the caption: 'Hey @MichaelPhelps we need your help!!'
'Hey Mr. Phelps, we have a problem,' left tackle Ronnie Staley said at the beginning of the clip while standing in the pool in front of a line of teammates.
Staley then dove to his right in the manner of a synchronized swimmer to reveal Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton standing behind him - 'Did you know that 1 in 3 Ravens cannot swim,' Hamilton said before diving to his left.
Humphrey then offered a solution to Phelps: 'Come to this aquatic center and teach us how to swim.'
Phelps, naturally, obliged, responding on Instagram: 'I got yall!!! Let's do it!!'
Two weeks later, Phelps delivered on that promise, witnessing the diving contest and giving hands-on training to Jones and likely others.
