GOOTO.COM, Jakarta - President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, feels upset that Indonesia is unable to produce cars and motorcycles independently. Despite Indonesia being the fourth most populous country in the world with abundant natural resources, according to Prabowo.

Prabowo expressed his frustration during a closed briefing at the National Coordination Meeting of the Central and Regional Government for the Year 2024, held at the Sentul International Convention Center (SICC) in Bogor, West Java on Thursday, 7th November 2024.

"To be honest, in my heart, I cannot accept that the fourth most populous country, a country blessed with such great wealth by the Almighty, given all the elements to become a developed country, cannot produce cars, cannot produce motorcycles, cannot produce computers, I cannot accept," said Prabowo, as quoted by Antara today, Sunday, 10th November 2024.

Prabowo is determined to make Indonesia capable of producing high-tech goods independently, such as cars, motorcycles, and computers. The number one person in Indonesia stated that he is grateful for being entrusted as the president to realize Indonesia's advancement.

"I am grateful because now I am given the opportunity to lead, to realize things that I consider critical for the survival of the Indonesian nation," he said.
