TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Samsung has begun taking part in revolutionizing mobile gaming with the full launch of its mobile cloud gaming service now available on all Galaxy devices in North America.
Designed to eliminate the need for downloads, long wait times, and complex registration processes, this service promises to make mobile games more easily accessible to players while offering an efficient way for developers to reach users.
Reported by Gizmochina, with this latest development, Galaxy users can expect a better gaming experience. Following its open beta debut last year, Samsung's mobile cloud gaming platform is now commercially available. This platform allows players to directly access Android games through the Galaxy Store without the need to download or create an account. The service also minimizes latency, allowing for a smooth gaming experience on all Galaxy devices.
This platform provides a click-to-play experience that not only benefits gamers but also offers game developers a more efficient user acquisition model. By simplifying the gaming experience, Samsung is setting the stage for mobile games to evolve in line with modern consumer expectations.
For developers, Samsung's mobile cloud gaming service addresses the main challenge, which is the low conversion rate in traditional game advertising models. Currently, only 5 percent of users who click on game ads go on to install and play the game, mostly due to lengthy registration processes. Samsung's platform eliminates this step, allowing players to jump directly into the game from the ad.
During the beta phase, this approach increased the conversion rate by up to 50 percent, a tenfold increase from the industry average. In addition, monthly active users on the platform in the US and Canada grew by 149 percent year-on-year, highlighting its appeal.
Platform Samsung also supports native Android APKs, seamlessly integrated with existing in-game monetization models, and includes cloud-based attribution solutions with key mobile measurement partners (MMPs). These features make it easy for publishers to incorporate the service into their operations without disrupting their current workflow.
