The government has set national holidays and joint leave in the Joint Decree (SKB) of the Minister of Religion, Minister of Manpower, and Minister of Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform Number: 1017 of 2024, Number: 2 of 2024, and Number: 2 of 2024.
The following is a list of national holidays in Indonesia that have been set for 2025:

2. January 27 (Monday) – Isra Mikraj of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
3. January 29 (Wednesday) – Chinese New Year 2576 Kongzili
4. March 29 (Saturday) – Nyepi Holy Day (Saka New Year 1947)
5. March 31 - April 1 (Monday-Tuesday) – Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah
6. April 18 (Friday) – Death of Jesus Christ
7. April 20 (Sunday) – Resurrection of Jesus Christ (Easter)
8. May 1 (Thursday) – International Workers Day
9. May 12 (Monday) – Waisak Day 2569 BE
10. May 29 (Thursday) – Ascension of Jesus Christ
11. June 1 (Sunday) – Pancasila Birth Day
12. June 6 (Friday) – Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijriah
13. June 27 (Friday) – 1 Muharam Islamic New Year 1447 Hijriah
14. August 17 (Sunday) – Proclamation of Independence
15. September 5 (Friday) – Prophet Muhammad's Birthday. December 25 (Thursday) – The Birth of Jesus Christ
This national holiday covers various important celebrations, from New Year, religious holidays, to the commemoration of Indonesian independence. These dates provide an opportunity for people to rest, celebrate religious celebrations, and commemorate historical moments.
In addition to national holidays, the SKB also stipulates joint leave days that provide an opportunity for workers to enjoy more time with their families or plan vacations.
Here is a list of collective leave days that have been set for 2025:
1. January 28 (Tuesday) – Chinese New Year 2576 Kongzili
2. March 28 (Friday) – Nyepi Day (Saka New Year 1947)

7. December 26 (Friday) – Nativity of Jesus Christ
This joint leave gives workers more time to make the most of their holidays, especially if the national holidays fall on certain days of the week. With joint leave, people can plan a long vacation, either to rest or gather with family.
