TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Whenever you travel abroad, you need to bring several documents—a passport and visa—with you. However, certain countries possess a powerful passport that enables their citizens to travel without a prior visa.
This applies to German passport holders. According to the Henley Passport Index, the European country currently possesses the second-strongest passport in the world, along with France, Italy, Japan, South Korea, and Spain.
Given that, German nationals enjoy visa-free access to approximately 192 travel destinations. Regardless, several others still require them to have a visa-on-arrival and Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).
For more, here’s the full list of visa-free countries for German passport holders, including visa-free, visa-on-arrival, and eTA countries, citing the Henley Passport Index and Passport Index.
