TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto met with a number of business tycoons. A total of eight prominent figures representing diverse business sectors attended the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
Citing the official Instagram account of the Cabinet Secretariat, the eight business figures are Anthony Salim (Salim Group), Sugianto Kusuma, also known as Aguan (Agung Sedayu Group), Prajogo Pangestu (PT Barito Pacific Tbk.), Garibaldi or Boy Thohir (PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk.), Franky Widjaja (Sinar Mas Group), Dato Sri Tahir (Mayapada Group), James Riady (Lippo Group), and Tomy Winata (Artha Graha Group).
"During the meeting, the President discussed the latest developments in the country and the global arena," wrote the @sekretariat.kabinet account on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
Prabowo and the eight business leaders engaged in discussions regarding the government's current key programs, including the free nutritious meal program, infrastructure development, the textile industry, food and energy self-sufficiency, and industrialization. The Daya Anagata Nusantara (Danantara) Investment Management Agency was also a topic of discussion.
Prabowo reportedly expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the business leaders for the government's policies.
"In a warm discussion atmosphere, President Prabowo expressed his appreciation for the support given by the business figures for various government policies and programs, especially those related to the interests and welfare of the people," the Cabinet Secretariat account stated.
