1. 10 Cheapest Currencies in the World 2024, Indonesia is on the List

2. Economists Say 12% VAT Implementation Will Burden Indonesian Middle Class Even More
Economist from Segara Institute, Piter Abdullah, assessed that the increase of Value Added Tax (VAT) from 11% to 12% is feared to burden the middle class in Indonesia even more.
Piter mentioned that currently, there is no government regulation easing the life of the middle class. On the contrary, the middle class is being burdened with various taxes that seem endless.
3. Indonesia Supports ICC Arrest Warrant for Netanyahu
The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Indonesia supports the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant against Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense minister Yoav Gallant.
"The issuance of the arrest warrant by the ICC against Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant is an important step towards achieving justice for crimes against humanity and war crimes in Palestine," read a statement from the ministry's official account on X, @Kemlu_RI on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
