2. GBK Management to Refund Customers as VAT Hike Withdrawn
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The facilities at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) complex have been excluded from the value-added tax (VAT) rate increase to 12 percent. The GBK Complex Management Center said it would refund users who have rented the facilities during January 1 and 2, 2025.
GBK Management has applied a 12 percent VAT rate before revising it back to an 11 percent rate on Friday, January 3, and claimed it has contacted users who have already paid for the previous VAT rate for a refund.
