TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Deployment Ceremony of VVIP Inauguration Security for Prabowo-Gibran was held at Monas, Jakarta, on Friday, October 18, 2024. The deployment ceremony was led directly by the Chief of Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and the Commander of the TNI (Indonesian Military) General Agus Subianto.
Following the deployment ceremony, the Chief of Police stated that they had already secured the routes taken by VVIP vehicles towards the DPR/MPR Building and vice versa. He mentioned that there was information that the public would participate in welcoming at several points.
"Especially since we received information that as we approach the departure points, towards DPR/MPR and vice versa, it will be attended by the public who certainly want to welcome the presence of the old and new presidents, certainly of concern to all of us," said the Chief of Police.
Traffic engineering around the DPR/MPR Building of the Republic of Indonesia on Sunday, October 20, 2024. The Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the Jakarta Metro Police advised the public to avoid the roads around the DPR/MPR Building due to the Inauguration of the 2024-2020 Elected President and Vice President. Traffic engineering is situational. Here are the details:
1. Traffic flow from the direction of TL Lap. Tembak towards Ji Gatot Subroto, is diverted at partition 2 or redirected to the Layang Ladokgi ramp towards Semanggi.
2. Traffic flow from the inner-city toll road that will exit at the Pulo Dua offramp is straightened towards the Tomang toll road.
3. Traffic flow from Jl. Palmerah Timur towards Jl. Gelora/back entrance of the DPR/MPR Building is straightened towards JI. Tentara Pelajar / Jl. Permata Hijau.
4. Traffic flow from Jl. Gerbang Pemuda towards Jl. Gelora/back entrance of the DPR/MPR Building is turned left towards Jl. Asia Afrika.
5. Traffic flow from JI. Asia Afrika towards TL. Lap. Tembak is turned right at the JI. Pintu 1 Senayan or U-turn at TL. Asia Afrika.
6. Traffic flow from the Semanggi direction towards Slipi is diverted to the left at Partition 2/Ladokgi towards Jl. Gerbang Pemuda.
7. Traffic flow from Slipi towards Jl. Gerbang Pemuda is straightened towards Semanggi.
