TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta residents and visitors can look forward to a spectacular New Year's Eve celebration in 2025 with the "Kirana Jakarta 2025" show. This event, a collaborative effort between City Vision and the Provincial Government, will take place at the HI Roundabout area.
The theme for this year's celebration is "Jakarta, a Global City with a Million Charms," aiming to showcase the city's unique identity and rich Indonesian culture to both local residents and international tourists.
“Through Kirana Jakarta 2025, we aim to establish Jakarta as the center for world-class New Year's celebrations that authentically reflect the richness of Indonesian culture and creativity,” said City Vision in a written statement on Monday, December 16, 2024.
As one of Southeast Asia's most alluring city destinations, Jakarta is poised to offer an unforgettable experience for all visitors through Kirana Jakarta. This will be achieved by seamlessly blending the city's sparkling beauty, the warm hospitality of its people, and the richness of its cultural heritage.
The Jakarta skyline will be illuminated by a dazzling fireworks display, symbolizing the city's hopes, prosperity, and promising future. This visual spectacle will be further enhanced by visual arts and cutting-edge outdoor media technologies, including a spectacular 800-drone light show and mesmerizing 3D projection mapping.
“By using the latest technology and world-class entertainment, we expect Kirana Jakarta 2025 to create meaningful moments for all visitors and establish itself as a must-see tourist attraction for both domestic and international travelers,” City Vision remarked.
In addition to the sophisticated visual displays, the celebration will also feature vibrant performances by local communities, such as traditional Betawi dances and children's choirs, to showcase the diversity of Indonesian culture.
Furthermore, visitors can enjoy live music performances by renowned artists such as Rahmania Astrini, RAN, and Yura Yunita, alongside a cultural festival celebrating the richness of Indonesia's heritage. Hosted by the dynamic duo of Okky Lukman and Indra Bekti, Kirana Jakarta promises to be an unforgettable way to ring in the New Year in the heart of Jakarta.
